Distinguished University Professor
Israel Liberzon, M.D. is a University Distinguished Professor and Stearman Endowed Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Texas A&M University Health Systems. Dr. Liberzon’s research has been continuously funded with multiple NIMH RO1 grants, VA Career development and NIH K awards, VA merit awards, Army, and DoD grants, and more. He has published over 320 peer-reviewed manuscripts, and has authored and edited several books and multiple book chapters.
Tetiana “Tanya” Nickelsen, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor
Dr. Nickelsen is an assistant professor at Texas A&M University. She is a Co-Investigator on the Fogarty D43 educational grant “Building Research Capacity for Implementation of Outcomes Research and Evidence-Based trauma care after Mass Violence, in Ukraine” and directs all the in-country operations in Ukraine for this project.
Greg Muller, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor
Greg Muller, Ph.D. is an assistant professor and licensed psychologist in Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin. His current roles also include work as a Coordinator and Lecturer on the D43 Ukraine Adult Program. He has specific clinical expertise in the application of evidence-based behavioral interventions for the treatment of PTSD (e.g., P.E., C.P.T., and W.E.T.).
Marcia G. Ory, PhD, MPH
Regents & Distinguished Professor
Dr. Ory is a Regents & Distinguished Professor at Texas A&M University and helps to lead the implementation science training elements of the D43 Fogarty project. She is the is the founding director of the Center for Population Health and Aging at Texas A&M University, chair of the SPH Health and Wellness Committee, and academic partner for the Community Research Center for Senior Health with Baylor Scott and White Health.
